This season’s third meet, “The Eagles Invitational” (organized by local track & field team The Eagles), took place at SDK on March 8 & 9, 2024.
The Cheetah team continued to improve and impress in this competition, finishing with total 21 medals, while achieving 19 Personal Bests!
Here’s the breakdown of the 21 medals earned by Cheetah’s athletes:
- Seven gold medals
- Five silver medals
- Nine bronze medals
The medal haul includes a gold and a silver in the U-13 and U-13 mixed 4×100 relay events, respectively. These were the first relay events of the season and the teams’ performances didn’t disappoint!
As ever, the high number of PBs achieved (19) is supremely valued by everyone on the team, as these are the best measure of continued progress!
