CAB May ’25 Comp

The CAB meet “May Competition” took place on Friday & Saturday, May 9/10, at Sentro Deportivo Korsou (SDK) in Curacao.

The Cheetah team were well represented by the following athletes:

• Zoe (U-17 Girls)
• Raymeliënne (U-17 Girls)
• Quiny (U-15 Girls)
• Christopher (U-13 Boys)
• Matthew (U-11 Boys)
• Ju-an (U-13 Girls)
• Ny-an (U-13 Girls)
• Anhaïs (U-13 Girls)
• Farexy (U-13 Girls)
• Rishona (U-11 Girls)
• Rayanne (U-11 Girls)
• Maya (U-11 Girls)
• Joëden (U-9 Boys)

The team once again excelled, with a total of 18 medals won across all events – including a 2nd consecutive clean sweep (gold, silver & bronze) in the U-13 Girls Combined Events.

A constant key indicator for SUCCESS is a good Personal Best tally – and we’re proud to see Cheetah athletes continue to rack them up, having achieved 19 more Personal Bests (PBs)!

A couple of shout-outs:

• Excellent work Quiny, racking up 6 PBs across her 7 events in U-15 girls – awesome!
• Farexy’s hard work at practice paid off with a gold medal and PB in the high jump!
• Another blazing 60m from young Joëden – a PB and continues his streak of wins in this event.

Well done, Cheetahs – keep working hard and racking up those PBs!
