Eagles RBC Invitational 2025

The CAB meet “Nos Stima Atletismo” took place on Friday & Saturday, February 21/22, at Sentro Deportivo Korsou (SDK) in Curacao.

The Cheetah team were well represented by the following athletes:

• Abraham (U-17 Boys)
• Daniel (U-17 Boys)
• Zoe (U-17 Girls)
• Christopher (U-13 Boys)
• Ju-an (U-13 Girls)
• Anhaïs (U-13 Girls)
• Ivanna (U-13 Girls)
• Maya (U-11 Girls)
• Matthew (U-11 Boys)
• Leyla (U-11 Girls)
• Rishona (U-11 Girls)
• Rayanne (U-11 Girls)
• Amir (U-9 Boys)
• Joëden (U-9 Boys)
• Amira (U-9 Girls)

The team had a very successful meet, with a total of 16 medals won across all events – including a team bronze & silver in the U-11 mixed 4×100 and U-13 mixed 4×100 relay teams, respectively.

And more importantly, Cheetah athletes achieved 24 new Personal Bests (PBs)!

Some individual highlights:

Anhaïs won the gold for overall combined events in the U-13 Girls category, gaining 4 PBs in the process.

Ju-an earned the silver for overall combined events in the U-13 Girls category, including a rousing gold/PB of 1.32m in the high jump!

Amira and Rayanne earned solid 4th place overall combined finishes in the U-9 & U-11 Girls category. For Rayanne, this was accomplished in her athletics competitive debut – well done!

Joëden continued his sizzling start in the 60m, streaking to a gold in the U-9 Boys category.

Shoutout to Rishona, Ivanna & Quiny, who all achieved 3 or more PBs each across their events – great job and keep improving!

Last but not least, congratulations to the mixed relay teams who managed to earn medals with limited team practice:

• Maya, Rayenne, Leyla & Joëden – U-11 (bronze)
• Chris, Ju-an, Anhaïs & Matthew – U-13 (silver)
