During the Season Opener competition held in Curaçao on January 12 & 13, 2024, a total of nine Cheetah cubs competed in various athletic events. The Cheetah cubs – four boys and five girls – competed in different age groups, from U9 to U17.
Two girls competed for the first time, and managed to do an excellent job. The remaining cubs brilliantly showcased their skills and experience, by finalizing in the top 3 of an event 12 times, in addition to setting the best time in 1 unofficial event.
Four Cheetah cubs also ended with the top 3 overall scores in their respective category, which earned each of them a medal! Consequently, Cheetah earned 16 rewards in total:
- 5 rewards for a 1st place finish (gold)
- 6 rewards for a 2nd place finish (silver)
- 5 rewards for a 3rd place finish (bronze)
