Kampionato di Korsou 2025

The “Kampionato di Korsou” event took place on Friday & Saturday, June 13/14, at Sentro Deportivo Korsou (SDK) in Curacao.

The Cheetah team was represented by the following athletes:

• Daniel (U-17 Boys)
• Raymeliënne (U-17 Girls)
• Quiny (U-15 Girls)
• Christopher (U-13 Boys)
• Matthew (U-11 Boys)
• Ju-an (U-13 Girls)
• Ny-an (U-13 Girls)
• Anhaïs (U-13 Girls)
• Farexy (U-13 Girls)
• Rishona (U-11 Girls)
• Leyla (U-11 Girls)
• Rayanne (U-11 Girls)
• Maya (U-11 Girls)
• Joëden (U-9 Boys)
• Amir (U-9 Boys)

The team racked up 22 medals across all events, and – crucially – a massive 28 Personal Bests (PBs)!!!

Highlights:

• Once again Quiny, stacked up PBs, getting 4 more across her 7 events in U-15 Girls.
• Well-deserved gold medal for Joëden in U-9 Combined events – and kept his streak of 60m wins intact!
• A big PB of 5.71 – and gold medal – in the long jump for Daniel – great job!

Excellent performance from all of the athletes. The progression and growth is great to see, key lessons learned along the way, and a joy to see the team having FUN!
