CAB Season Opener ’24
The first meet of the season was a big success for AV Cheetah, with all of the athletes competing hard and many also ending up on the medal stand!

EVENT REPORT
The CAB Season Opener took place on Friday & Saturday, January 12/13, at Sentro Deportivo Korsou (SDK) in Curacao.
The Cheetah team were well represented by the following athletes:
- Abraham (U-17 Boys)
- Daniel (U-15 Boys)
- Zoe (U-14 Girls)
- Christopher (U-13 Boys)
- Lishantely (U-13 Girls)
- Ju-An (U-13 Girls)
- Ny-An (U-11 Girls)
- Anhais (U-11 Girls)
- Maya (U-9 Girls)
- Matthew (U-9 Boys)
The team had a very successful meet, with a total of 4 medals and 12 event ribbons won across all events. Some highlights:
Ny-An won 1st place overall in U-11 girls, with Anhais placing 3rd overall in the same category.
Matthew placed 2nd overall in the U-9 boys group.
Ju-An placed 3rd overall in the U-13 girls group, and added a 1st place in the 800m event.
Daniel placed 2nd in the 1200m, while Abraham placed 1st in his 400m race.
